A Zero-Waste Activation for a Greener Future
Coca-Cola – The "Green Zone" Campaign
Every hour, an estimated 900 metric tons of plastic waste remain unsorted, polluting our environment. Of this, 8–10% consists of plastic bottles and caps. This urgent issue drives Coca-Cola’s Global "World Without Waste" Vision—an ambitious commitment to collect and recycle a bottle or can for every one sold by 2030.

"Recycle around the corner, and contribute to a greener city—by your own hands!"
-
WHAT? A physical space designed for convenient and engaging recycling.
-
WHY? To make recycling easy, fast, and fun, while encouraging social interaction and green behavior.
-
GOAL? To empower consumers by strategically placing "Green Zones" in high-traffic locations, ensuring plastic bottles end up where they belong—recycled.
Truly, It's Time To Evolve
Coca-Cola faces a longstanding reputation challenge. As one of the world’s largest beverage brands, it has been heavily criticized by environmental organizations, NGOs, media, and policymakers for contributing to plastic pollution. The mission of this campaign is to reshape that narrative by actively engaging communities in the recycling movement.
Across Europe, Coca-Cola has launched multiple Zero Waste initiatives—from marine litter collections in coastal areas to Zero Waste schools and festivals.
The next step? Reducing waste generation, minimizing environmental impact at events, and improving waste separation across communities.
